Finca las Rejas is a real steal of a deal for Rioja lovers - a Crianza style from a great 5-Star vintage at a snip of a price.
This particular wine was taken on by Javier Murua the head of the family owned Bodegas Muriel, where he had discovered that a to Rioja Hose had a significant excess of it barrelled and about to be destined for blending. He stepped in and added his own flair and finishing touches to this excellent wine in when bottling.
Taste this wine for yourself to understand its true pedigree. A gorgeously mellow, richly complex mouthful of luscious fruit, wrapped in spicy vanilla oak. It is a terrific find and definitely not to be missed. This Silky smooth red is perfect for sipping on its own, yet has plenty of character to partner food. Enjoy with roast chicken or lamb, char grilled vegetables or tofu kebabs, or with mild cheeses.
It is just spot on for a wide variety of Tapas such as jamon Serrano, calamari or ablondigas (lightly spiced meatballs).
